Thank you all for your constant support. This novel has unfortunately failed to secure a publishing contract, so I cannot continue writing it.

Honestly, I’ve always known that unless an editor reaches out first, the chances of signing are generally quite slim. Yet each time, I hold onto a bit of hope; once I reach the required word count, I apply for a contract—only to receive the same response: “Sorry, it does not meet the standards for signing.”

Writing is a passion of mine, but I also wished for something more tangible in return. I am truly grateful for all your bookmarks and recommendation votes these past days. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every reader who took time out of their busy lives to read such an uneventful book.

It’s true that my writing in this novel was not good enough—let’s say farewell to it here.

Well, that’s all for now. I’ll take a couple of days to regroup and study those “exciting novels” that get signed after only a few chapters, to see if I can learn what editors like from them.
